If things keep progressing this way...

I can't figure out what's going on with me and Chris. I know that I love talking to him on the phone. When I'm around him, though, I get just a tiny bit flustered. I tend to completely ignore him or talk to him, then run to Jen and giggle like a fool. He just makes me feel happy, I guess...

Yesterday, though, I was perfectly fine around him. No flirting, no giggling, no nothin'... I took my own advise that I gave to Jen and pretended he was Geoff. I talked to him normally, well... as normal as I get, and felt completely at ease. I was confident in myself and feelin' good in general. I've come a long way, baby! Maybe my self-conscious days are behind me or I was just in a great mood. ::Shrug::

In any case, I have to wonder about my mental psyche. Lately, I've been in a great mood. I'm used to my moods swingin' 'round like a monkey in a tree... completely wild and unpredictable. Something has changed... and I want to know what it is. Could it be that fact that I'm not dating? Could it be the fact that work has gotten easier(despite the fact that Des is there)? Could it be my friendship with Jen and Geoff? Could it be that I'm shopping more? Could it be that I'm more communicative(is that even a word)? These are all the things that have changed since the summer started and I've been so happy these past months... except for when I was feeling low and sorry for myself, but I got over that pretty quick thanks to the support of my friends... sometimes being called a dork is helpful. Um, yeah... that must be it.

I think my mental age is actually regressing... Isn't that weird?!

I'll be infantile in no time.
